The Nominating Committee for the WESC Federal Credit Union has nominated the individuals listed below for the above positions. The nominations are listed alphabetically with a brief statement of qualifications and biographical data.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
James Curkendall: I have been an active member of the credit union since 1965 both as a state employee and as a retiree. I worked in the Department of Employment Building 11 years in the unit record section and later in computer data processing. Following the centralization of state computer installations, I was employed by the Department of Analysis and Fiscal Control and the Department of Analysis and Information. I have been an active Board member for 15 years also serving on the ALCO committee.
Elizabeth Stetz: I have been with WESC for 20 years. I embrace the credit union philosophy and have a genuine desire to see that spirit continue and survive. With our new name I hope to be able to reach so many more within our community. Being your President/Treasurer for these past nine and a half years has been a challenging and exciting experience; one that I hope to continue for many more years to come.
Jenny Vass: I am currently retired but spent 32 years working in many facets of the banking industry. I have worked with several non-profit organizations. One was facilitating SBA loans between the banks and the SBA and another as an accounting specialist. I would like to be considered for a board position.
Additional nominations for the above positions may be made by petition signed by one percent of the members. A separate petition must be completed and submitted for each nomination. Each nominee, by petition, must submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data and a certificate signed by the nominee stating they are agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office.
